Projects the candidate will be working on:

  • Conversational Ai Platform and Virtual Assistants (Chatbots). Virtual Assistant / Chatbot Project: Deliver a virtual assistant (chatbot) that helps consumers (could be members, providers or employers) to answer questions without needing to call in or speak to a live agent. Types of self service topics that could be included: login issues, ID Card, benefit accumulators, claims status, etc.

Experience:

  • Experience with chatbots, Virtual Assistants or NLU. Without that, experience in Digital experiences or live chat/messaging experiences would also help.

Team and Team size:

  • Peer of 4 other product owners / business analyst, and would support a scrum team of 4-6 developers. Would also need to interact with 3-5 key business stakeholders to drive out capabilities, features & user stories.
  • Scrum Team would be 1 PO, with 4-5 developers – supplemented by 1 architect, 1 NLU architect and need to support 3-5 key business stakeholders, and probably 3-5 impacted applications..

Top Responsibilities:

  • 1. Agile Product Owner: Work with business stakeholders and a scrum team to groom, deliver and accept features and user stories tied to the delivery of a virtual assistant (chatbot).
  • 2. Communicate: Need to communicate with business and technical stakeholders to drive out the scope and detailed features for the identified virtual assistant.
  • 3. Experience Design: Work with User Experience resources to help inform the design of the dialog and potential user interfaces.
  • 4. Technical Design: Support the scrum team in the technical design/analysis and coordinate with additional applications as necessary where consumption of data is required.

Software tools/skills:

  • Work with Rally tool for scrum team management
  • Work with Aha tool for roadmap management.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 4+ years of Product Management/ Product Owner experience
  • Business or Systems Requirements development experience
  • Experience with MS Office applications
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve goals in a matrix environment
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and influence others
  • Effectively communicate at all levels of the organization
  • Experienced working in an SDLC environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Healthcare experience
  • Virtual Assistant / Chatbot experience
  • Natural Language Understanding (NLU) experience
  • Master's degree in business or technology
  • Experience creating a roadmap of capability execution

Interview Process:

  • a. How many rounds? Ideally 2 rounds
  • b. Video vs. phone? Would strongly prefer video.
  • c. How technical will the interviews be? Not technical as we’re looking for a BA/Product Owner. Would want them to talk about their processes and experience in working in this space and across multiple teams. But not looking for them to show actual work products..
