Responsibilities
•    The Project Manager will work with business sponsors/stakeholders on approved projects to determine project goals/requirements, scope, project timeline, budget, procedures and staffing/resource requirements needed to accomplish project.
•    Owning and driving the overall project, from initial kickoff through the execution and testing of final deliverables, not just facilitating or coordinating deliverables.
•    This role will create and maintain project plans specifying goals, strategy, and staffing, scheduling, identification of risks, and contingency plans. 
•    Interface with vendors and project team to verify that there is a clear understanding of project outcomes and timelines.  Projects may be specific to a department with some cross-functionality.
•    Ensure solution design and delivery fits with agreed upon guidelines including functional, technical, performance, security, scalability, process, and total cost of ownership.
•    Managing the day-to-day details of the project including the plan, schedule, resources, task assignments, scope, budget, issues and risks. Track progress and monitor all development activities to ascertain and control progress. 
•    Leading the effort in creative approaches to problem solving and quality deliverables supporting business needs.
•    Facilitating project meetings. Brief the project team on status reporting, problem resolution, feedback, and input from the team on project planning and execution.
•    Adhering to project methodology including proper documentation as well as the original plan, any working papers, status reports, meeting minutes, issue logs and any other documentation related to the management and administration of the project.
•    Coordinating production support & maintenance activities, including launch planning.
•    Understanding of digital best practices and how to apply this knowledge to various types of projects.
•    Reviewing and routing business requirements and wireframes as well as interfacing with business analysts, user experience, and strategy in order to provide task direction and share feedback.
•    Oversee the building of pages in a content management system.  Working knowledge of how to best utilize the CMS for business objectives, and troubleshoot issues that may arise during the project process.
•    Translating complicated business requirements and development issues into easy-to-understand communications to keep project stakeholders and team members up-to-date and well-informed
•    Communication and collaboration with UX architects, designer and copywriters.
•    Facilitation of the stakeholder stage review and QA process - gathering, compiling, and prioritizing feedback from stakeholders and testing functionality to make sure the page is working as expected.

Educational or Experience Requirements
•    Bachelor’s degree in business or related field strongly preferred, or equivalent experience.
•    Minimum of 2-3 years of direct project management experience, preferably in a fast-paced work environment.
•    Industry experience in higher education would be a very significant plus. 
•    Proficient in and significant experience with Project Software/tools (SharePoint, MS Project, Workfront, etc.) to track and manage tasks, resources and project costs.
•    Excellent ability to prioritize tasks, organize information and manage projects to time and budget goals.
•    Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Conveys information clearly and effectively through both formal and informal documents, presentations and dialogues.  Needs to know when to engage senior management to reconcile unexpected project issues.
•    Skilled at dealing with complex business issues in which multiple challenges may exist.
•    Able to champion new initiatives and understands company vision/strategic objectives.
•    Demonstrated ability to think both strategically and tactically.
•    Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers.
•    High level of business and organizational aptitude.
•    Is extremely detailed-oriented and able to effectively multi-task.
•    Self-starter, comfortable working in an autonomous environment. 
•    Experience in formal project delivery methodologies preferred; PMP certification a plus.
