Reporting to the Director of Strategic Communications, the Corporate Communications Contractor will serve as a critical member of the Strategic Communications team.  Responsibilities include developing high-quality internal communication strategies, crafting compelling employee-centric messaging, manage the roll out of current and new communication channels, including the employee intranet. The ideal candidate will be a storyteller who possess excellent communications skills and be a solution-oriented, tenacious, self-starter who wants to drive meaningful results.
Execute the employee communication strategy; craft and execute employee-related communication plans
Partner cross-functionally to proactively mine internal storytelling ideas and content creation
Plan, edit and write content for various employee communication channels, including intranet, newsletters, emails
Oversee workforce communication tools implementation, evolution and change management
Write with speed, accuracy, consistency, and the appropriate tone and length for the intended audience
Provide support for remote and in-person employee meetings and events
Advise on and support the development of tracking metrics related to internal activities
Bachelor’s degree required in related field (Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or Business)
5-7 years in Employee Communications role(s)
Outstanding written and verbal communications skills
Ability to work cross-functionally in a matrix environment
Highly developed interpersonal skills and the ability to handle multiple, complex tasks simultaneously
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment with continuous change; ability to make decisions and influence partners and leadership
High level of integrity, curiosity, flexibility, initiative and creativity  
Ability to maintain a strong sense of confidentiality 
Proficient in SharePoint, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Experience with desk-based and deskless employee communication tools preferred
Outdoor/powersports appreciation or enthusiast preferred
