- The position of Communications Specialist will support the development and execution of communications plans and tactics to effectively communicate benefits initiatives including physical, emotional, and financial wellness to U.S.-based client's employees.
- The Communications Specialist may also support communications plans and tactics to inform and engage employees in client's equity and community efforts, such as inclusion programs, volunteer opportunities and social justice investments/initiatives.
- Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Writing
- Conveys the value of client’s benefits programs through clear, engaging messages and compelling employee-facing communication tactics, including articles, emails, and intranet content
- Manages the creation and distribution of communications through a variety of approaches (intranet, email, digital signs, print materials, etc.)
- Partners cross-functionally with colleagues and vendors to ensure communications campaigns are executed accurately and on-time
- Coordinates multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Develops comprehensive plans and benefits communications materials for client leaders and U.S. employees to achieve communication and business goals
- Participates in frequent and detailed measurement analysis by reporting communications metrics and impact to support continuous learning, data-driven decision making and the identification of best practices PowerPoint Creation Creates and edits PowerPoint presentations and graphics
- Works with designer on more complex graphic design needs as required
- Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited university
- Minimum 3-5 years of communications experience in a Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Branding, and/or Advertising role
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including PowerPoint, Word, and Teams
- Strong editorial skills, including grammar, spelling, punctuation and working knowledge of AP style
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Project management experience
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills,
- Ability to interface directly with partner teams, vendor partners and subject matter experts
- Ability to translate complex material into simple, engaging communications
- Strategic thinking and ability to develop creative solutions
- Graphic design experience is preferred but not required
