  • The Accessibility Center of Excellence seeks energetic, motivated and resourceful individuals to join our growing team.
  • The Accessibility Center of Excellence serves the Group enterprise, providing guidance, training and talent to product teams as they build solutions that ensure everyone can access and use and products.
  • This role will challenge your ability to adapt in a fast changing environment.
  • As accessibility operations manager, you will be responsible for driving practice objectives of the Accessibility Center of Excellence aimed at helping teams incorporate accessibility early in the product development lifecycle.
  • Your subject matter expertise from scope definition, risk identification, project methodology, resource allocation and facilitation will help product teams meet specific accessibility requirements.
  • You’ll also make presentations to management on project updates and expected results, helping to drive integration and maturity of accessibility practices across the organization.
  • To be successful, you must show empathy towards people with disabilities, have a passion for helping to make products better for everyone, have a curious, inquisitive mind and self-awareness with an interest in continuing to improve your people and technical skills.

Projects the candidate will be working on:

  • We are standing up a new Digital Accessibility Program (ODAP) to complete annual assessments for existing properties.
  • The Accessibility Center of Excellence provides accessibility expertise to teams across .
  • Additionally the Accessibility Center of Excellence has comprehensive learning, standards and tooling programs.
  • Not only do shared resources need to be coordinated across these initiatives, but the initiatives themselves need to deliver measurable results in a timely manner, often to deadlines imposed by clients


  • Familiarity with digital accessibility or user experience, and managing multiple projects with shared resources

Team and Team size:

  • Accessibility Center of Excellence 37 team members.


  • Establish and coordinate projects that will meet objectives for the practice.
  • Define and manage schedule, budget, and resources as well as tracking and reporting against plan.
  • Collect, analyze and maintain financial forecast information (e.g. labor, hardware, software), using input from applicable sources.
  • Work with stakeholders to establish/apply quality objectives, criteria, standards and levels using appropriate quality management methods.
  • Identify and forecast variances and trends throughout the project lifecycle to ensure that project schedules and resource requirements are met.
  • Develop, communicate and implement program, project risk and issue management plans and strategies (e.g. mitigation, avoidance, transfer, acceptance).
  • Demonstrate knowledge of operations, goals, and policies and procedures of internal business partners in order to provide effective support to internal and/or external customers
  • Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders in an environment requiring flexibility, agility and the ability to adapt to change.
  • Seek feedback from customers to determine success of overall project management and implementation.
  • Ensure performance is tracked accurately utilizing internal tools and processes (e.g., dashboards; scorecards; reports).
  • Review consolidated operational performance reports in order to determine overall effectiveness, make necessary changes, and identify opportunities for new programs or program consolidation or expansion.


  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience
  • Self-motivated with a desire to improve products for people with disabilities
  • General awareness of disabilities that impact a persons ability to interact with digital content
  • 5+ years working in a fast-paced and highly collaborative technical environment collaboratively and productively with both diverse teams and independently.
  • 3+ years of project management experience using data and information to make business decisions
  • 3+ years of experience with strategic planning, risk management, and change management
  • General knowledge of HTML, CSS, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and MS Project.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodology
  • General knowledge of Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI) guidelines and specifications and Intermediate to advanced working knowledge of WCAG
  • Ability to work simultaneously on multiple projects and help manage project resources
  • Comfortable with the development of reports and presenting to management
  • Ability to work collaboratively and productively both with diverse teams and independently
  • Strong soft skills and experience working with teams who may not have any understanding of inclusive design or accessibility
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Willingness to learn and take direction from others

Preferred qualifications:

  • Ability to manage to timelines and escalate issues as appropriate
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • General understanding of digital accessibility
  • Excellent organization and comprehension capabilities
