Projects the candidate will be working on:
- Migration and EBS 12.1 upgrade projects requires Business System Analysis including Functional analysis of various interfaces to Oracle EBS financial modules.
Ideal Background:
- No healthcare specific background required, it is additional plus.
Team and Team size:
- This position will work within a DevOps team, primarily focused on operational stability and security for our Oracle EBS financial modules.
- The role requires a collaborative partnership with business stakeholders located mainly in Cypress, CA as well as team members in India sites
Primary Responsibilities:
- Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs
- Functional Analysis of an Oracle e-Business Suite Application (R12). This includes system analysis, design, development, & deployment of Oracle EBS components, with the focus in Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payables (AP) , General Ledger (GL) and Cash Management
- System Analysis of interfaces to integrate Oracle applications modules to import data from various sources into Oracle applications using PL/SQL, SQL Loader
- Conceptual design for new concurrent programs, custom forms with forms personalization, reports and flex field customizations
- Lead/ Participate in the agile team build activities, partnering with business product owners to deliver rapid enhancements to the production environments
- Interact with product owners/users to design enhancements, fix bugs, develop comprehensive test plans and provide production support
- Evaluate business requirements and prepare the detailed functional and technical specifications that follow project guidelines
- Work closely with Developers and Quality Assurance Analysts to ensure requirements and design are completely understood
- Communicate design to all stakeholders and varying levels of the organization
- Act as the liaison between Business and Quality Analysts, Developers and project management groups
- Present and evaluate design solutions objectively and facilitate conflict resolution
- Work closely with business teams to strategize solutions that support long term business objectives
- Ensure IT deliverables align with business requirements with measurable results
- Collaborate with QA team to ensure testing efforts align with system deliveries and business processes

Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience as Functional Analyst for Oracle Application in implementation, upgrade and customization of Oracle e-Business Suite Applications (R12)
- 3+ years of experience with Analyzing interfaces to bring data into or extract data from Oracle EBS
- 1+ year as part of an agile delivery team
- Four-year degree in computer science or equivalent experience
- Intermediate skills in MS Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint
- 3+ years of experience in Systems Analysis or equivalent work experience involving analysis-related activities
- 3+ years of experience years of experience translating business requirements into system specifications, or equivalent work experience
- Knowledge of best in class agile methodologies to work alongside scrum teams towards continual delivery of value
- Ability to Map existing applications/functionality to client/user requirements and balance/reconcile at all levels; including gap analysis, flow, functionality, roles, fields, use cases, data, test plans, UAT plans
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with APIs
- Experience with Github, XLDeploy tools
- Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payables (AP) and General Ledger (GL) modules within Oracle EBS
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Forms/Reports
- Experience with Rally (CA Agile) tool and Kanban agile methodology
- Experience with Oracle compatible reporting and archiving tools, such as Noetix and Solix applications
