Responsibilities
  • This is not an IT Project Manager or Technical Project Manager role, rather responsible for managing 2-5 Business Line projects or 1-3 projects that cross several Business Lines.
  • Typically works with Senior Business Line management to formulate project scope and manages project teams between 6-20 stakeholders.
  • Participates in the identification, design, development and implementation of assigned projects.
Additional responsibilities include:
  • • Directs and monitors project activity for assigned functional areas.
  • • Participates in meetings and task force activities to identify project goals, gains consensus on project steps, schedule and implementation procedures and estimates project costs; fosters cooperation and involvement from support team.
  • • Interviews users to identify and analyze needs; develops a project plan and provides input to recommendations for request and/or problem resolution.
  • • Identifies internal and/or external resources to ensure successful project completion in accordance with user needs.
  • • Prepares project status reports; makes alterations in project plan as needed.
  • • Assists with or prepares project implementation steps and documentation as appropriate; ensures a smooth implementation of project; resolves problems.
  • • Participates in training users as applicable.
  • • Participates in project evaluation against estimated plans and costs; provides continuing support and service as required.
  • • Manages performance of project team and evaluates overall performance.
  • • Work with internal teams, product and technology teams, and external vendors translating business needs into requirements.
Basic Qualifications
  • • Master's degree, or equivalent work experience
  • • 10 or more years of experience in project management activities
Preferred Skills/Experience
  • • Considerable knowledge of 2 or more of these Specialty Default areas: Repossessions, Foreclosure, Bankruptcy, Recovery, Real Estate Owned property
  • • Familiarity with FNMA (Fannie Mae), FHLMC (Freddie Mac), Black Knight Financial and MSP
  • • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • • Thorough knowledge of project and/or program management
  • • Experience with MS Project preferred and strong knowledge using MS Office Suite
  • • Ability to identify and resolve exceptions and to analyze data
  • • Demonstrated leadership skills and proven initiative
  • • PMP a plus
  • • Experience with Waterfall methodology
