Software Engineer

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Join a development teams in delivery of RESTful APIs and UIs built with Angular.
  • Own the build/deploy/release process and find ways to automate and improve our pipeline at every step
  • Bring innovative ideas to help continuously improve including the design, build, deploy, test and runtime cloud ecosystems
  • Participate in debugging and performance tuning in a high performance cloud platform
  • A great attitude and the passion and persistence to solve complex

Required Qualifications:

  • 9+ years of Total IT Experience
  • Experience in Java/J2EE technologies
  • SQL Experience on HTML, Javascript, Hibernate, Oracle, MySQL, MS SQL and other relevant technology
  • Experience with Linux-based or Windows based infrastructures, Linux/Unix administration, and Openshift/Azure
  • UNIX commands and Shell scripting
  • DevOps Capabilities
  • Experience working on Cloud platform; preferably Azure and Openshift
  • Experience in production support, application monitoring

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of healthcare domain
  • Background in healthcare industry application
  • Knowledge of Agile Scrum culture and CA Agile Central (Rally)
  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Sonar, XL Deploy, etc.)
  • Emerging technologies stacks (Hadoop, Python etc.)
  • Able to work independently with minimum support/mentoring
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Adaptable to flexible enough to work in any shift

What does the ideal candidate background look like? Healthcare experience is plus.

What does the team make-up look like - how many members and what is the break-down of the teams skill sets? Typical team size 5-6 developer, 1 SA/SM, 2 SDETs.

What are the work hours? Standard shift 9 to 5

What does the interview process look like?
a. How many rounds? 2 (phone and video)
b. How technical will the interviews be? One technical interview
