POSITIOTN SUMMARY:
- you will collaborate with partners in Quality and IT to deliver data, reports, technology and services that enable actionable insights.
- As a Principal Business Systems Analyst, you will work independently and with your peers within various IT groups on defining the necessary requirements to build data centric solutions which will enable the democratization of data throughout the company.
- In addition, you will execute the necessary testing for new and emerging technology.
- This position will be working with Quality IT teams from multiple Businesses and Geographies understanding their critical data needs and translating them into business and technical requirements.
- This position will work on strategic projects that will enhance existing processes and technologies as well as new efforts that align with the Quality IT strategy.
- You will develop solutions to problems of unusual complexity, which requires the ability to be innovative, creative and a high degree of ingenuity.
- The ideal candidate will have strong experience in advanced analytics, data modeling, data visualization, data preprocessing and tools/report building.
- Delivers and/or manages projects assigned and works with other stakeholders to achieve desired results. Attend meetings and workshops complete follow-up items resulting from those meetings
- Work with business partners in quality to build and enhance our data analytics portfolio, providing key intelligence and decision-making tools to our stakeholders.
- Defines, describes, diagrams and documents the role and interaction of the high-level technological and human components that combine to provide cost effective and innovative solutions to meet evolving business needs.
- Create and maintain requirements in the form of functional specifications or user stories to be prioritized into project sprints
- Train and assist users with use of the quality data in Company's data repository.
MUST HAVE (Minimum Qualifications)
- Bachelors degree
- Minimum of 7 years of experience with a bachelors degree or advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years experience
NICE TO HAVE (Preferred Qualifications)
- Experience demonstrating processes and application functionality to broad audiences
- Able to work independently and be self-motivated to resolve and report issues
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with facilitating small to large groups through challenging discussions
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Experience with process development and improvement, including the ability to identify multiple options and recommend the best solution with the highest process improvement impact
- Experience with Reporting platforms (BW, Tableau, PowerBi, or Spotfire)
- Experience in data pre-process using SQL and /or tools like Alteryx
- Experience with Information Management related platforms (Oracle, Informatica Axon, Apigee, MES, etc)
- Data Analysis skillset and applying advanced analytical techniques to solve business problems
- Expertise and comfort with large and imperfect data, balancing qualitative and quantitative analysis.
- Experience with key Complaint Management technologies (SAP CRM, IQVIA, etc.)
- Experience developing requirements and functional designs for global technology solutions
- Experience designing and deploying validated systems
- Functional knowledge in Complaint Handling in the Medical Device or Life Sciences industry
- Excellent leadership and team work skills
