Education & experience:
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in computer science or closely related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in IT and Quality Assurance and engineering.
  • 4+ years of experience in depth knowledge of Quality Engineering practices.
  • 4+ years of experience in automation development and implementation.
  • 3+ years of experience in Object Oriented design patterns and coding best practices, mainly in Java and .Net development.
  • Excellent experience in test data management strategy and modern Quality practices.
  • Good experience in providing guidance and leading automation.
  • Experience utilizing and integrating testing best practices and methodologies.
  • Expertise in developing test automation and Continuous Integration (CI) Continuous Delivery(CD) solutions.
  • Hands on experience in designing, developing and implementing Web and Mobile test automation framework for a software product using Open source tool like Selenium, Cypress, Appium, Karate and Cucumber.
  • Proficiency with programming in Object oriented and scripting languages like (Java, C# and Ruby with Selenium/Appium/Karate etc.).
  • Experience in other languages/tools, such as (JavaScript, VB script, Perl, C++, Cucumber, VSTS, JMeter, LoadRunner, UFT/QTP, TestComplete).
  • Demonstrated test automation and scripting skills (Java, C#, Selenium etc.).
  • Proficiency in writing queries against databases and data warehouses (Oracle or SQL server,MySQL and Mongo).
  • Experience with Quality tools (JIRA, HP ALM, Zephyr, Rally, Rational, MTM, TFS/VSTS, SOAPUI, and virtualization technology).
  • Proficient with systems development life cycles and software testing and automation within agile environments and knowledge of Test Driven development (TDD), Shift left and DevOps methodologies.
