Tell us about your department:

  • Retail Order Create is a Multichannel Commerce product which enables employees to create orders for customers. 
  • We provide a guided order create flow that ensures employees gather accurate customer information as well as displaying correct inventory availability to ensure employees can create orders that can be fulfilled successfully.
  • The user experience includes web-based UIs injected inside deskstop, registers and tablets


Project Description:

  • We deliver a world-class retail employee experience that is underpinned by maintainable, highly tested system architecture and application code.  
  • Team members are expected to execute on complex requirement sets as part of the core of the retail commerce capability. 


Position Summary/Job Description:

  • This is a senior front-end React developer role, which will likely entail mostly web development.  
  • Strong JavaScript skills are essential, but knowledge of back-end technologies and patterns is also valuable.  
  • The developer will be expected to demonstrate the following qualities in addition to completing their development work:
  • Strong technical communication skills.
  • Ability to work as a part of a team of engineers. 
  • Willingness to develop a deep understanding of complex business domains.
  • Friendly and cooperative demeanor.
  • Ability to handle high-stress situations such as urgent bug fixes in production.


What are the top five skills and number of years of experience required to perform this job:

  • JavaScript: 6+ years.
  • CSS: 5+ years.
  • React: 3+ years.
  • Node: 1+ year.


What are some preferred/nice to have skills the manager is looking for:

  • React Native: 1+ year.
