A Day in the Life:
•Assists Project Managers with tasks or performs these tasks independently, depending on assignment, including setup and maintenance of the project, project schedules, status reporting, resource assignments and managing project issues and risks.
•Communicates client expectations on project requirements and deliverables to the proper team members.
•Creates and manages project completion and meeting schedules.
•Manages the project resource requests and allocations within the Project Portfolio Management tool.
•Coordinates project activities with vendors and suppliers and maintaining relationships with them.
•Maintains artifacts and owns the process for budget monitoring including managing issues and providing updated forecasts to project leadership.
•Drives the creation of agendas and meeting materials and may facilitate meetings including those with senior leadership.
•Applies Project Management practices and techniques to manage small departmental and Stella organizational projects.
•Works with the STO, internal and external clients to support the strategic vision for the project.
•Confers with project staff to outline work plan and to assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority.
•Performs other accountabilities as assigned.

Nice to Have:
•Project Coordination experience with small projects or portions of large projects.
•Familiarity with the use of PPM (project portfolio management) tools.
•Preferred Agile experience and Government Markets experience

Required Skills and Experiences:
•Excellent organizational skills and detail orientation.
•Excellent project and time management skills with the ability to organize, prioritize, and work independently juggling many deadlines simultaneously.
•Highly motivated self-starter with strong customer service focus.
•Demonstrated effective interpersonal skills for working with business partners, vendors and cross-functional project teams.
•Strong verbal and written communication skills with excellent spelling and grammar.
•Demonstrated track record of achievement with ability to identify and exceed customer expectations.
•Excellent continuous quality improvement and/or project management skills.
•Must have a high level of intellectual curiosity and openness to change.
•Conflict resolution, facilitation and negotiation skills, capable of adapting the approach as needed.
•Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills.
•Demonstrated creative problem-solving skills, able to anticipate, identify and eliminate problems.
•Proven ability to collect and analyze feedback and data, and transform findings into project-level strategies.
•Demonstrated ability to work independently with little direction and make decisions as needed.
•Experience with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
•Ability to look for opportunities to make continuous improvements in key processes, techniques, and procedures.
