Description:

  • You will play a critical role in the ability to deliver products and manage internal business functions.
  • Your role requires alignment to business and/or product strategy, effective design and development, and ongoing management of capability portfolio across the full lifecycle to ensure business-specific or cross-enterprise impact.
  • You will leverage market insights to monitor trends and external landscape, and to inform capability strategies and customer use case scenarios.
  • You will be accountable for delivering sustainable, financially sound solutions that solve a specific problem and enable successful internal business function performance, while driving adoption with internal business clients and define future capability direction that supports business strategy and new opportunities.

Projects the candidate will be working on:

  • In support of advancing the Information Technology Financial Management (ITFM) discipline and capability at Company's the opportunity is to build an in house solution for approximately 300 users.
  • The project consists of building a minimum viable product as proof of concept, then iterate to strengthen the ITFM capability foundation.
  • Initial MVP will be centered around solutioning for the data management and visualization such as dashboards.
  • A successful product delivery enables the ability to drive behaviors that optimize technology consumption and the reduction of costs for the enterprise

Ideal Background:

  • The ideal candidate preferably will have product focused background, having worked with engineers and agile teams in previous roles.
  • Proven success launching in-house products.

Experience:

  • Proven results where new or enhanced product capabilities have transformed and improved the business.
  • Execution of product strategy from ideation thru delivery is key

Team and Team size:

  • Intent is to collaborate with a scrum team (6-7 people) engineering and finance team members to build an awesome product and roadmap strategy.

    3. Develop use case scenarios and document via agile practices
    4. Support marketing of the new product capabilities and drive product adoption

    5. Translate required capabilities into concrete operational processes and measurement plans; Aligns to business strategies and translates into requirements for engineering
    6. Build and maintain Product Roadmap

Software tools/skills:

  • JIRA or Rally for Agile management of Epics and user stories
    aha! or any other product roadmapping tools
    Wiki tools such as Confluence
