Projects the candidate will be working on:

  • Optum Consumer Digital Experience : Chat, Secure msg, Global Nav/Taxonomy, SOLR-search, Our team supports common capabilities which includes navigation, header, footer, chat, secure-messaging , notification, search, help and forms. Beside these our team also support We create widgets that portals embed on their site for these common capabilities.

Ideal Background:

  • deal candidate should have at least 5 yrs experience in Software Engineering field and be well-versed have at least 2 years on React/Redux.
  • Understands browser debugging, extensible coding that are easily scalable to support / onboard multiple portals with mostly configuration and ideally no dev intervention.
  • Should understand micro-services architecture.


  • In addition to top 3 skills, Knowledge on AEM(Adobe Experience Manager) will set the candidates apart.

Top Requirements:

  • React/Redux, Javascript, HTML, Front end technologies

Team and Team size:

  • part of a team & LavaLamps/Vanguard team. The approximate number of devs in the team is around 6

Top Responsibilities:

  • Attend regular scrum meetings.
  • Design and Develop software
  • Participate in architecture/design reviews.
  • Meet with software vendor to understand APIs etc.
  • Deliver on time and with quality

Software tools/skills:

  • Javascript/React JS, Java, Agile Methodology.
  • React JS, Javascript, Modern Front end technologies.


  • Need to listen and works collaboratively with the team.
  • Need to understand unique business requirements/constraints and work within those confinement.
  • Attend the scrum and meetings daily.

Nice to have:

  • Public Cloud (AWS or Azure), Adobe Experience Manager, Java/Microservices Architecture
