Projects the candidate will be working on:

  • The position will provide support and maintenance to the production PCS (Pharmacy Control System), including servers and workstations, as well as assisting with troubleshooting line issues and working with third-party vendors

Ideal Background:

  • Experience in supporting a production line would be a plus.

Experience:

  • Experience with triaging issues with servers and workstations. Able to apply patches and install software. Self-motivated and pro-active. The more experience, the better.
     

Team and Team size:

  • Part Of team & Dispensing IT Support, 20+ resources supporting seven other sites

Top Responsibilities:

  • • User applications and system configuration
    • Hardware setup
    • Troubleshooting issues
    • Reporting
    • Working with the technical services support staff
    • Serving as a key point of contact

     

Software tools/skills:

  • • 2+ years’ experience with Windows systems, including Wintel and Windows Server
    • 2+ years’ experience with PC troubleshooting
    • Network knowledge

Skills/attributes:

  • • High School Diploma or GED
    • 2+ years’ experience of systems administration experience
    • 2+ years’ experience with Windows systems, including Wintel and Windows Server
    • 2+ years’ experience with PC troubleshooting
    • Network knowledge

     

Nice to have:

  • • Bachelor’s Degree
    • Helpdesk experience
    • Project leadership experience
    • Experience writing SQL
    • Disaster Recovery experience
    • Altiris experience

Interview Process:

  • a. How many rounds? One
    b. Video vs. phone? Video
    c. How technical will the interviews be? Some technical questions, but mostly looking for the ability to triage, be flexible on hours, committed, flexible, able to work with a tea
