Summary :

  • The Minimally Invasive Therapies Group (MITG) strives to enable earlier diagnosis, better treatment, faster complication-free recovery, and enhanced patient outcomes through less invasive surgical solutions.
  • Need someone who can create the right content to ensure customers find us, trust us, and work with us.
  • The ideal candidate will champion our editorial voice while collaborating closely with multiple departments to tell compelling stories and create multiplatform content.

A day in the life:

  • Create high-quality editorial content across print, digital, and social media using innovative and analytical thinking
  • Demonstrate top-notch skills as a reporter, writer, and editor
  • Adhere to corporate brand standards and internal house style
  • Act as an editorial creator and strategist, adeptly learning a complex industry and customer base to deliver content that meets strategic intent and brand identity
  • Create a steady stream of assets for use across multiple channels
  • Manage a busy schedule and workflow from many sources
  • Engage and collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders
  • Exemplify a culture of editorial excellence, accountability, and problem-solving

Must-haves:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in journalism, writing, or related communications field
  • 7+ years of experience in digital or print journalism
  • Experience navigating end-to-end editorial process (reporting, writing, editing, proofreading, fact-checking, and production)
  • Excellent communication, listening, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to quickly learn and understand new concepts

Nice-to-haves:

  • Experience developing and distributing branded content across multiple channel
  • Experience working with complex subjects in a matrixed environment
  • Experience creating content from the ground up
  • Expertise in which content formats and channels best reach different audiences
  • Familiarity and comfort adhering strictly to house style guide and brand guideline
