POSITION DESCRIPTION:

  • As the Principal User Experience (UX) & Innovation Designer for Global Digital & Social Media, youll develop state-of-the-art, persona-driven digital experiences, including Company, mobile applications, email programs and paid/social media assets.
  • In this role, One will  collaborate with designers, developers, content strategists, and others to ideate, optimize, and implement world-class digital experiences.
  • One will demonstrate that that your creativity is limitless by continually pitching new concepts and platform/experience enhancements.
  • One will embrace a culture of testing and learning (including failure).
  • Will be comfortable receiving honest feedback about your work.
  • Will envision a future digital experience that is rooted in current state but not limited by it.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Produce a high volume of large-scale concepts that improve the overall digital experience, meet user needs, and satisfy business partner objectives.
  • Use existing page templates and components to build attention-grabbing digital experiences; define new components and functionality as needed
  • Work with the digital leadership team and our vendor partners to determine the long-term user experience strategy for Company's and complimentary experiences
  • Apply a user-centric design methodology and design quality assessment process throughout the execution of digital media projects
  • Generate information architecture, wireframes, and user flow models to optimize user tasks and design for multi-channel deployment, including mobile devices.
  • Possess a passion for great user experience and a natural ability to push creative boundaries.
  • Collaborate with other members of the Global Digital & Social Media team to meet business partner needs and identify opportunities to improve the digital experience.
  • Exhibit strong presentation skills, including the ability to successfully sell creative work
  • Be comfortable working with content strategists, copywriters, senior leaders, and global business partners.
  •  Manage and prioritize assigned design-related tasks to ensure the successful delivery of projects that exceed expectations while meeting timelines and budget targets.
  • Establish, promote, and enforce design guidelines, best practices, and standards.
  • Be part of ongoing user research and testing, and help evaluate user feedback.

EDUCATION REQUIRED:

  • Bachelors Degree, with significant portfolio work in user experience design.

YEARS OF EXPERIENCE:

  • 7+ years of experience designing complex, enterprise-level websites for a corporation or agency at a senior level.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Deep knowledge of user-centered design processes and methodologies, as well as user experience best practices and deliverables such as information architecture, wireframes, and general web strategy.
  • Familiar with the opportunities and constraints of a content management system.
  • Solid grasp of interactive web technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and industry experience designing solutions using these technologies.
  • Expert skill with Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, and UX/UI design tools (e.g., Axure, Omnigraffle, Balsamiq, Visio).
  • Experience with internet design best practices (browser compatibility, accessibility, color, image optimization, etc.).
  • Experience in user-centric design with a strong understanding of web accessibility, usability, maintainability, and organic search engine optimization
  • Expert experience with new design technologies and best practices within mobile and responsive design.
  • Experience gathering and documenting business, functional and end-user requirements.
  • Experience collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to successfully deliver end design deliverables.
  • Experience working with brand standards and requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new content domains, visualize and simplify complex systems, and solve problems both analytically and creatively.
  • Exceptional client presentation, idea-generation, and brainstorming skills.
