Position Summary:

  • Develops high level design for solutions supporting Natural Gas Operations projects to support Company's Gas Business Unit.
  • Develops artifacts to be used be used in downstream SDLC phases .
  • Leads technical resources during the Detailed Design and Development phase, leading the team from design to solution deployment.
  • Coordinates technical aspects of deployment, including hardware environments, certification, and software deployment.

Skills:

  • Field Equipment Repair/Maintenance: Intermediate Architectures: Expert

Top 3 skills  :

  • Strong Architecture skills
  • Experience in Energy or Utilities, specifically in Natural Gas
  • Experience with Gas SCADA and DCS
Required :
  • Minimum 10 years of architecture experience, with large-scale distributed projects.
  • Experience with application development, in place technical upgrades of COTS applications
  • Proven experience managing requirements specification, design activities, prototype development, testing and final deployment.
Preferred :
  • Experience with geospatial, SCADA, and DCS projects.
  • Proven vendor management experience including leading RFPs, SOW creation, financial control, and aggressively driving vendor to meet date and budget commitments.
  • Proven experience on a project with a large number of impacted users, (i.e., at least 500 users) and managing the associated change management.
  • Utility or energy industry experience preferred o Natural Gas business experience preferred Candidate will primarily work in Company's Lookout facility located near Golden, CO or in Downtown Minneapolis, MN. Background and experience in the energy and utility sectors preferred.
  • Experience in natural gas SCADA and DCS systems is a plus.
