Position Summary:

  • Company  is seeking a hands-on developer with extensive SAP BusinessObjects universe, report, and SAP Lumira Designer development mainly in non-SAP environments, but could also include our SAP BW environment.
  • Interested in BusinessObjects System Administrators.
  • Main focus will be Lumira Designer Dashboard and Webi reporting, and Universe Development (using IDT)

Essential Qualifications:

  • Expert (3+ years) with Business Objects 4.x toolsets, including Designer/IDT, Lumira, Analysis for Office, and WebIntelligence

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and test BusinessObjects universe and report solutions
  • Work with business users and technical staff to gather and refine requirements for reports, dashboards, and ad-hoc query environments
  • Collaborate with data architects to develop effective data models and universe designs
  • Participate in the complete development lifecycle, including requirements, design, build, and test
  • Adhere to and help refine our best practices and standards as they relate to reporting and analytics

Related Work Experience:

  • Broad understanding of reporting technologies, including dashboards, scorecards and data visualization
  • Experience in data warehousing and business intelligence
  • Proficiency in SQL
  • Personal qualities: innovation, resourcefulness, tenacity, independence, energy, and self-confidence
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and within a team
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with a broad base of business and technology associates
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously
