Position Summary:

  • This Senior Business Analyst is accountable for requirements definition and management for software development projects within Company's  Employee Experience Business Unit such as the Field Time Entry and Electric Outage Restoration projects.
  • Project activities include developing as-is and to-be workflows, gathering and documenting functional requirements, producing user stories, requirement change management, ensuring traceability from requirements to test cases, and leading the test development and test execution efforts.

Responsibilities:

  • Works closely with a variety of Business stakeholders from multiple organizations within Company's (Employee Experience, Distribution, Transmission, Gas, etc) to identify, analyze and document Business requirements and related work products throughout the project life cycle.
  • The BA requires strong communication skills including the ability to facilitate Business and technical requirement meetings and reviews, keep stakeholders focused on a common goal, and the ability to effectively document the Business and technical requirements in use case form.
  • The BA will also lead agile testing and may function as a hands-on Software Tester / Quality Assurance Analyst Skill Set Requirements:

Experience Required::

  • Minimum 5 years of Business Analyst experience.
  • Documented experience collecting and managing Business needs and requirements as part of an agile software development team.
  • Proven experience collecting and managing Business needs and requirements throughout a product lifecycle.
  • Proven success documenting Business needs and requirements with a diverse group of stakeholders and delivering well written use cases that can be tied directly to design and test documents.
  • Ability to review design documentation and test cases to ensure alignment and coverage of all requirements.
  • Ability to collect, manage and quantify requirement change requests.
  • Proven experience on a project with a large number of impacted users, (i.e., at least 200 users).
  • Experience with requirements definition and change management on an agile, custom software project.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing test and QA functions for large, complex, integrated software systems Demonstrated experience in leading agile, software development test efforts.
  • Experience developing structured test plans and detailed test cases through analysis of complex business and technical requirements and high-level design deliverables
  • Ability to prioritize testing based on risk Experience in QA Process Development and re-engineering Experience with Structured Test Planning, QA Tracking software and Test automation Direct experience as a BA or QA at a Utility is preferred.
  • Experience with SAP, SAP Fiori, cloud-based applications, mobile applications, GIS and integrations projects is preferred.
