Job Summary

Quicken Loans Product Owners are responsible for aligning to product visions and prioritizing what we deliver within a Lean/Agile development team environment. We’re looking for talented and passionate team members who’ll inspire innovation and help teams develop solutions that focus on delivering value. - Drives the vision and definition of the product

- Knows why we’re building the product, its audience, and what problem it will solve

- Represents the voice of the client

- Ensures that the Development team works on the “right things” from the stakeholder’s perspective

- Understands the business, technology, and process context in which a product delivers value

- Writes new user stories, ensuring that acceptance criteria is met when code is complete

- Drives release planning and forecasting

- Regularly keeps in touch with every product stakeholder

- Shares insights throughout the company regarding the product

- Engages with our User Experience team to define requirements for how a prospective user interacts with the product


- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Marketing, Computer Science, Information Management Systems or a closely related field

- Four years of experience in product management as either a Product Owner, Product Manager, or product-related role within a development team

- Strong background in usability and/or software development and architecture

- Experience working in a Lean/Agile environment with focus on Scrum, XP and Kanban methodologies

- Strong communication and relationship building skills

- Team-first mentality

- Strong ‘systems thinking,' and ability to articulate the big picture

- Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) training

- The ability to deliver solutions iteratively
