Projects the candidate will be working on:

  • Eligibility Data Management with focus on eligibility modernization

Ideal Background:

  • Ideal candidate will have balanced skills of technology and systems analysis. For technology – broad skills across technologies, and systems analysis/design experience for healthcare Payer systems with emphasis on member enrollment/eligibility.
  • Experienced in agile

Team and Team size:

  • Will be part of a one or more scrum teams as Design Lead/Solutions Analyst.
  • Candidate will be part of a scrum team with 6-8 team members

Top Responsibilities:

  • Lead, plan and provide design to address business requirements and deliver value.
  • Elicit, analyze, document and translate functional and non-functional requirements into Features and User Stories for scrum teams
  • Collaborate with solutions architect and technical architect in understanding business requirements/features/Technology and create user stories to deliver the solution.
  • Support planning and estimating process
  • Own and drive delivery of requirements/user stories with stakeholders and scrum teams
  • Collaborate to define test requirements and ensure product meets functional and non-functional business requirements and delivers value.
  • Support analysis, communicating impact and resolving production issues
  • Consult with stakeholders, partners and scrum teams on business, operations and technology solutions
  • Consult with stakeholders and the scrum team on adoption of best practices and methodologies
  • Demonstrate and apply understanding business - Health plan design & member enrollment & eligibility maintenance functions

Software tools/skills:

  • Extremely good in business and systems analysis with solid knowledge of software engineering and design principles.
  • Possess broad skills across technology platforms
  • Expert Agile experience and knowledge
  • Expert healthcare (plan design, member enrollment & eligibility) experience and knowledge
  • Past technical experience in legacy or java based stack
  • Expert SQL skills

Skills/attributes:

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in varied technology roles
  • 8+ years work experience in business and systems analysis
  • 5+ years work experience as business or systems analyst in healthcare domain with specific focus on plan design, member enrollment & eligibility
  • 3+ years experience as software engineer and/or Quality engineer
  • 3+ years experience in Agile

Nice to have:

  • 2+ years of Hands-on technical experience in mainframe, java technology stack
  • Exposure to Dev/ops

Interview Process:

  • a. How many rounds? 2
  • b. Video vs. phone? Video
  • c. How technical will the interviews be? expect candidate to clearly explain business value they have delivered on various past projects, able to come-up with solution for sample use cases, explain pros and cons between 2 design options etc
