This is a fulltime position and it is 100% remote. Our headquarters is located in St. Louis Park, MN.

What you’ll do

  • Be part of the Talent senior leadership team and have oversight of developing, architecting and implementing a global marketing strategy for Horizontal Talent that complements our sister line of business, Horizontal Digital.
  • Previous staffing industry experience is strongly preferred to help us create and implement industry leading marketing strategies.
  • Elevate brand marketing strategies and go-to-market programs that improve performance, increase market share and drive revenue for all Horizontal Talent’s markets.
  • Identify and leverage the Horizontal Talent’s key differentiators in all brand positioning.
  • Oversee Horizontal Talent’s marketing budget and calendar.
  • Build a deep understanding of audience segment needs and objectives.
  • Develop and optimize the company's digital marketing strategies and safeguard the company's digital presence, including the company website, social media accounts, digital advertising and demand generation campaigns.
  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of trends and regulatory changes that affect that staffing industry and the industries/areas of expertise that Horizontal Talent serves.
  • Maintain effective internal marketing and communication to ensure the broader Horizontal team members are informed and educated on Horizontal Talent’s efforts and services.
  • Serve as main point of contact between the marketing team and Executive Leadership.
  • Measure, analyze and report on program ROI, as well as competitive activity, developing key learnings and best practices to maximize invested resources and efforts.
  • Collaborate with Sr. Leaders on Talent and Digital.
  • Assist in the selection and implementation of new marketing platform solutions.
  • Represent Horizontal Talent and Digital at marketing events and attend conferences, tradeshows, and speaking engagements.

What you’ll need:

  • Previous experience within the staffing and recruiting industry (preferred) with at least 5 years of marketing and/or digital marketing leadership experience.
  • People/team management experience required.
  • Deep expertise in brand management, digital marketing, demand generation, event management, sales tool development, staff development, vendor management and budgeting.
  • Ability to influence different levels of management and lead direct, cross-functional, and cross-regional teams.
  • Proven leadership skills, expert project management skills and high attention to detail.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communications skills.
  • Experience selecting and implementing new marketing technologies and managing related internal change.
  • Strong strategic thinking skills and a proactive approach to identifying and solving problems.
  • Ability to build partnerships and optimize relationships with internal and external clients and vendors.
