Functional Description:

  • Positions in this function deliver professional level technical work in support of the development of company products, tools, platforms and services, typically for an external customer or end user.
  • Operates within established methodologies, procedures, and guidelines. Applies knowledge of principles and techniques to solve technical problems. Works closely with other functions to understand customer needs and to develop product roadmaps.

  • Works with less structured, more complex issues.
  • Serves as a resource to others.

Job Scope and Leveling Guidelines:

  • 1. Assesses and interprets customer needs and requirements.
  • 2. Identifies solutions to non-standard requests and problems.
  • 3. Solves moderately complex problems and/or conducts moderately complex analyses.
  • 4. Works with minimal guidance; seeks guidance on only the most complex tasks.
  • 5. Translates concepts into practice.
  • 6. Provides explanations and information to others on difficult issues.
  • 7. Coaches, provides feedback, and guides others.
  • 8. Acts as a resource for others with less experience.

Minimum Educational Background / Experience:

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.

Functional Competencies:

  • Analyze Customer/Business/Product Needs and Requirements
  • Analyze Product Capabilities and Define Conceptual Solutions
  • Design and Document Technical Specifications
  • Develop/Enhance/Integrate Product/Software Solutions
  • Support Testing of Product/Software Solutions
  • Deploy/Maintain/Manage Product/Software Solutions

Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of IT Technical Support
  • 2+ years of working with client application implementations / upgrades
  • 2+ years of experience using SQL
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access)
  • Proficiency with MS Visio
  • Healthcare Industry experience
