  • Translate complex design problems, user pain points, and research findings into practical and impactful design solutions.
  • Proactively engage with multiple project stakeholders, including product managers and engineers in drafting and brainstorming initial concepts.
  • Quickly visualize and prototype ideas to communicate concepts, conveying design ideas via sketches, wireframes, hi-fidelity mockups, and prototypes.
  • Conduct primary and/or secondary research, as well as quick rounds of usability tests.
  • Create iterative designs that meet product objectives and respond to feedback and usability testing.
  • Strive to elevate the product by crafting elegant visual design systems from modern UI patterns and trends, from concept to execution.
  • Support and collaborate with development teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
  • Articulate strategy behind design decisions and participate in regular reviews.
  • Be an advocate for the user and lead by example.
  • 5+ years of experience, including experience with information architecture, interaction design, user research, and usability testing, in addition to leading, organizing, and inspiring a team.
  • Experience creating and managing UI pattern libraries and interaction guidelines, including building and implementing a design system.
  • Expertise creating a variety of interaction design documents including user scenarios, task flows, conceptual models, competitor analysis, heuristic analysis, and annotated wireframes.
  • Experience in developing and conducting a variety of both qualitative and quantitative research, including ethnographic research, contextual inquiries, guided explorations, and usability testing.
  • Experience shipping innovative and complex software products on a large scale within milestone deadlines.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent sense of design strategy that enables you to communicate, negotiate, and drive design solutions for our products.
  • Understanding of the array of technical constraints, user goals, and business requirements that shape current and future products.
  • Ability to quickly produce elegant and easily understood diagrams, wireframes, and other artifacts.
  • Proficient in developing IA and user flows using Visio, Omnigraffle, LucidCharts, or similar tools.
  • Proficient in designing high-fidelity mocks in Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD or similar tools.
