JOB DESCRIPTION

GENERAL SUMMARY:

A mid-senior level designer who, working closely with the Creative Director and Marketing team, creates and designs social media content to post across owned channels and paid media placements. Concepts and creates creative solutions and drivers for editorial storytelling, brand promotions and marketing initiatives. Has an exceptional eye and ability to create new design ideas while staying in-tune to the Social landscape. Is passionate and takes inspiration from the latest inspirational design trends to continue to push and elevate the brand.

PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Effectively interpret marketing requests from turn-in/other briefs and translate them into compelling, on-brand content for brand owned channels and paid media placements
  • Bring new ideas to the table to create Social-specific content. Having a baseline knowledge of best practices and tools within the main Social platforms: especially Instagram, Instagram TV, Instagram Stories, Facebook, and Twitter
  • Collaborate with Creative Director to ensure designs are consistent with the brand projection are elevated, and meet brand standards
  • Pro-active and takes lead to ensure designs maintain campaign projection and a cohesive look and feel with the other 360-consumer touch points, including but not limited to Site, Email, App, CRM, and Store Windows
  • Strong, cross-functional partner who can work collaboratively with team peers, marketing partners, merchants, producers, Photo, Copy and other relevant cross-functional departments.
  • Continually be immersed in digital innovation: researching new Social Media/ Content trends, patterning (competitive landscape)
  • Ability to manage due dates and adhere to timelines
  • Flexible, open to feedback and can work quickly when needed
