Position Description

Responsible for assisting Project Managers in the organization of projects at both an administrative and executional level. This involves consolidating, monitoring, and refining project plans, schedules, resources, workstreams, and ensuring that project deadlines/dependencies are met in a timely manner. The successful candidate must have excellent communication skills, along with the ability to problem-solve, anticipate needs, and balance competing priorities while simultaneously maintaining accuracy and quality of work.

 

Responsibilities

  • Ensure projects adhere to governance and all documentation is maintained appropriately
  • Prepare/update project status reports and maintain files for due diligence
  • Assign tasks to internal teams and assist with schedule management
  • Monitor and track project progress
  • Organize, attend and document relevant project meetings
  • Support project manager in capturing and following-up on key actions and decisions
  • Document project changes
  • Assess project risks and issues and provide solutions where applicable
  • Gather and prepare necessary materials for all meetings
  • Provide administrative support as needed

 

Qualifications / Experience

  • Minimum three years experience in related field
  • Digital/eCommerce experience preferred
  • Must be highly organized, with meticulous attention to detail, and proven ability to multi-task
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with particular focus on interpersonal communication
  • Strong problem solving skills and analytic capabilities, with ability to quickly adapt to new situations as they arise
  • Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism, work well independently and within a team environment
  • Thrives in fast-paced, fast-changing, high-pressure environment
  • Knowledge of file management, transcription, and other administrative procedures
  • Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Project
