Position Summary :

  • Provides the Portfolio support and assistance in forecasting, expense processing, and capital accounting.
  • Assists in information collection, validation, and reconciliation.
  • Facilitates collaborative documents, reports and data stores.
  • Processes project accounting services including Work Order Management, Invoice Management, JE's, Reallocations, Accruals, Forecast updates, and financial variance reporting.
  • The Program/Project Coordinator assists in managing the Business Systems Project Delivery Corporate portfolio of projects, including Security.
  • This role provides financial management support to Project/Program Managers, tracks portfolio project delivery performance, provides project
  • On-Boarding support, trains Project Managers and assists them project resource On-Boarding support, tactical Sourcing, monthly forecasting as well as month end Project and Program support.
Responsibilities:
  • Financial Management :Coordinate month end processing and reporting for 20+ capital and operating and maintenance (O&M) projects with project managers, program managers and Finance.
  • Track accrual journal entries by project by vendor
  • Complete and/or assist project managers with preliminary and final as-builts to trigger asset capitalization.
  • Enter invoices as needed for timely processing and follow through until paid. Delivery Performance Management:
  • Manage metrics for quality assurance including on-time delivery, actuals to forecast variance, and financial reporting.
  • Liaison between project managers and finance, PMO and capital asset accounting
  • Develop portfolio overview presentations
  • Prepare quarterly and annual performance overviews Project Management Support
  • Project Initiation and Close out. Turn on/off transactional systems - IQN, Clarity, SAP, Xcel time keeping
  • Assist project managers with project close in Unifier including documentation and workflow.
  • Unifies project management tool support (In-Service, financials, process & documentation) and maintenance.
  • Resource Management across the portfolio - Partner with PMs to manager IQN, IBM, Accenture and other 3rd Party vendor resources across the portfolio.
  • Review and manage resource load balancing
  • Weekly Status reporting to senior Management Other
  • Update new project manager training and work with LMS to publish content.
  • Train new project managers on financial and PMO processes.
  • Compile information for R&D Tax Credit - time/expense surveys and contracts
  • Responsible for tactical administration and maintenance of program directors Share point site .
  • Setup and execute monthly Project Managers meetings, Includes preparing content and audio/visual.
  • Records coordinator & Assist with Project Change Requests .
  • Assist Project Managers with Clarity system support

  • Expert General Ledger: Intermediate
