  • Looking for a SME for provider enrollment

Projects the candidate will be working on:

  • TN Provider OMMS implementation project. The State of TN is moving off of their current provider MMIS and migrating to the OMMS Provider Solution.
  • Managed Medicaid Services (OMMS) Product. There are additional provider management features to be built into the OMMS product for deployment in all three in-flight implementations

Team and Team size:

  • Resource will be a member of a team of other like resources
  • Current 2 WSL’s and 1 BA. This position will cover for current WSL out on FMLA.
  • The OMMS Product team is comprised of 25+ functional SMEs and business analysts that develop product requirements and user acceptance criteria

Job Responsibilities:

  • Act as the key SME for provider management processes
  • Track enhancement and Capital features
  • Groom Member specific features
  • Create acceptance criteria
  • Gather business requirements
  • Prioritize multiple demands and ideas based on available resources and client commitments
  • Navigate and influence multiple cross-functional teams in a complex work environment
Top Responsibilities
  • Required (MS Suite)
  • Perferred (ALM, Rally, Jira, Confluence, Aha!)

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent
  • Experience gathering requirements from business and product teams
  • 5+ years of experience in the Medicaid area
  • 5+ years of experience working on Provider requirements for State Medicaid systems (MMIS)
  • Demonstrated experience with provider enrollment and management processes
  • Experience maintaining visibility on day-to-day activities with project teams and ensuring sufficient face-time with key executive stakeholders
  • Demonstrated experience partnering with stakeholders (client and internal) to ensure the proper strategy, plan, alignment, integration & visibility
  • Ability to work with team members across the country
  • Ability to adapt to changing schedule or priorities
  • Ability to work with minimal guidance
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior experience consulting government clients
  • Experience with MMIS or commercial off-the-shelf products and related solutions
  • Advanced industry degrees or MBA
  • Previous Health and Human Services (HHS) experience in public and/or private sector (Medicaid-focus)
  • Prior experience with SalesForce
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with the urgency to drive work forward
  • Highly skilled in communications (both verbal and written), negotiation, and conflict management
  • Project Management Experience
  • Provider Correspondence design and workflow
