Projects the candidate will be working on:

  • We are building a digital platform to help improve employee engagement and productivity.
  • Platform provides mobile app consumable services for company news, approvals, searches, directory etc.

Ideal Background:

  • a. Hands on experience with modern application – microservices, Cloud and CI/CD
  • b. 8-10 years of hands on Java development with increasing responsibilities
  • c. Good communication with developing architecture and design documentation.

Experience:

  • Experience building a secure microservices platform

Top Requirements:

  • a. Languages and service development- Java, springboot
  • b. Native Cloud development -container technology like Kubernetes , azure
  • c. CI/CD automations – Jenkins.

Team and Team size:

  • Part of the team
  • Team Name - Sparq
  • Team Size- multiple sprint team
  • Current team is 8 developers, 2 SDETS, 1 Scrum Master, 1 RTE, 1 architect.

Top Responsibilities:

  • Architect and develop technical solutions and implement new business functionality using microservices architecture
  • As part of devops team, develop/deploy tools and mange system operations
  • Evaluate new technologies/frameworks/solutions and provide recommendations
  • Define best coding practices and mentor younger team members
  • Define and enforce security guidelines for the application

Software tools/skills:

  • Java, Springboot, Container technology, Cloud - deployment and management, Data management - SQL/No SQL.

Skills/attributes:

  • Experience in developing scalable application using microservice architecture(sprpingboot).
  • Hands on with CI/CD tools - Jenkins
  • Cloud deployment and monitoring - private/public(azure preferred).

Nice to have:

  • mobile apps - swift/kotlin.
