Projects the candidate will be working on:

  • Warehouse management system for production environment supporting Footprint/National and Regional Pharmacies (70% devOps and 30% development).

Top Responsibilities:

  • a. The Engineer is responsible for maturing the DevOps mindset within the agile teams using techniques such as Acceptance Test Driven Development, Continuous Integration, and Continuous Delivery to provide quality products with seamless integration across Development, Quality Assurance, Infrastructure, Operations, and Release Management roles.
  • b. Basic understanding of procurement and inventory functions related to purchase orders, advanced ship notices, receipts and “PutAway” functionalities
  • c. Support daily business operations in order management and inventory related functions through identifying points of failure and troubleshooting backend processes in application databases and servers to remediate.
  • d. Support application resiliency and software delivery pipeline through strategizing, designing, executing and interpreting application performance data
  • e. Understand business logic and rules created to drive software decision making relative to order fulfillment
  • f. Working understanding of Microsoft SQL Server databases and Unix OS to support in analyzing and interpreting data.

Software tools/skills:

  • Degree in computer science
  • Understanding of Rally for User story inputs
  • Understanding of Warehouse management system

Skills/attributes:

  • Source Control systems (such as Git, Bitbucket, etc.)
  • Continuous Integration tools (such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, VSTS, etc.)
  • Cloud (such as Azure and OpenStack, etc.)
  • Network (subnets, load balancers, application firewalls, etc.)
  • SOAP, PowerShell, C++, Linux/Unix, MSSQL, Boot strap, IIS, XML, JSON, Web API, Shell Scripting, Node.js, Javascript, Openshift, Multi-Threaded Programming. such as building multi-threaded web server and garbage-collector.

Nice to have:

  • Azure cloud computing and programming.
  • Agile
  • Rally.

Work hours

  • Morning shift.
  • The is a Software development position, after hour deployment is expected from engineers once a month on weekends.
