As a web developer on the team, you would be dedicated to our agile product team giving you the ability and empowerment to make changes and go fast. We are looking for a dynamic and articulate web developer, with a customer first mindset, to create engaging customer tools.  

Front End:
Angular and Material 7+, Scss and Html. For backend positions candidates can be less experienced in UI/FE but should be able to demonstrate they understand the concepts of web UI development in Angular and Material clearly and have some hands on experience in the last year.
 
Backend:
Looking for more than just support and small features – They don’t need exactly what is listed but something that relates is nice

  1. SQL
    1. Dapper
    2. EF Core 3
    3. Stored Procs
    4. CTE’s
    5. Paging
    6. Optimization
  2. C# - Core 3, Standard, Framework
  3. API’s
    1. Swagger
    2. Versioning
    3. Validation – fluent
  4. Any kind of integrations with 3rd
    1. Stripe – Payment system
    2. Drip – Email
    3. Twilio – SMS
    4. Old systems – SOAP or whatever
    5. DMS – Dealer management systems
    6. Anything they connected to 3rd parties really – Just experience working with anything
  5. AWS
    1. Secure S3 with tokens – user security
    2. SQS – any queue system work
    3. EC2 – Servers
    4. Anything really related to cloud work
  6. Backend services – Processing anything really
  7. Building anything from the ground up is nice to have as they know how to build a system
  8. Optimization of systems – We will need to start focusing on performance a little more
  9. Creating anything that more then just your product needs – Making things consumable by anyone
  10. Accessibility – This is more FE work but knowledge of what it is any why we need it along with some basic ideas of layout and best practices

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design, code, test and debug applications
Work with users and staff to resolve business problems
Support, maintain and administer deployed solutions
Attend and participate in project and administrative meetings
Plan and design information structure and architecture by studying the site concept, strategy and envisioning architectural scheme, information structure, features, functionality and user interface.
Collaborate with project managers, designers, marketing managers, to refine the user experience.
Develop applications in an object-oriented environment using application development technologies including web services, C#, HTML 5, CSS3, SASS, JavaScript frameworks, JQuery, MVC.
Create guidelines and best practices for website development.
Formulate system scope and objectives to create or modify an application
Define site objectives by analyzing user requirements; envisioning system features and functionality.
Design and develop user interfaces to Internet/intranet applications by setting expectations and features priorities throughout development life cycle; determining design methodologies and tool sets; completing programming using languages and software products; designing and conducting tests.
Recommends system solutions by comparing advantages and disadvantages of custom development and purchase alternatives.
Integrates applications by designing database architecture and server scripting; studying and establishing connectivity with network systems, search engines, and information servers.
Complete applications development by coordinating requirements, schedules, and activities; contributing to team meetings; troubleshooting development and production problems across multiple environments and operating platforms.
Support users by developing documentation and assistance tools.
Update job knowledge by researching new internet/intranet technologies and software products; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
Enhance organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
Support web application developers by providing advice, coaching and educational opportunities.
   
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
Minimum Qualifications:
3+ years experience in web application design and development working with Visual Studio, C#, MVC, and ASP.NET
Must have strong back end development skills
Significant experience with C# in a MVC environment
Application of languages and IDEs as tools to problem
Have a good understanding of editors, IDEs, including open source alternatives
Able to diagnose and visualize changes necessary for certain problems and understand impacts and articulate Design Patterns and when they should be used
Be well-read in industry-standard books and blogs and active in writing and running unit tests
Have significant development experience using different types of languages and be able to articulate the pros and cons of each.
Must have experience building cross browser applications in an object oriented environment using application development technologies including web services, Ajax, JavaScript, DHTML, XML and CSS
Relational Databases developing against SQL Server.
Ability to work in a deadline-driven, demanding environment
Ability to work as part of a highly cohesive and collaborative team
Ability to manage multiple priorities at one time
Strong written and verbal communication skills
 
Nice to Have:
EpiServer 10 or higher
Angular experience
External customer facing web development experience
