Projects the candidate will be working on:

  • Management of Tanium Core Platform.
  • Administration of it is capabilities such as Unmanaged Asset Discovery, Patching, Software Agent Distribution, and Configuration Baseline.
  • Project will dictate the security requirements that need to be met by the newly acquired business.
  • As part of this project, there is a key work stream to tighten endpoints and monitor security posture of the newly acquired company.

Ideal Background:

  • The ideal candidate should have Tanium Core Platform’s experience. Demonstrated knowledge of the Tanium platform and it is capabilities such as Unmanaged Asset Discovery, Patching, Software Agent Distribution, and Configuration Baseline.
  • Plus, experience handling a larger enterprise (UHG size) level security project, healthcare background will surely help.

Experience:

  • Ability to automate workflows to accomplish a task.
  • Knowledge of agile methodology and experience using project management tools like confluence suite and CA Rally

Top Requirements:

  • Tanium platform administration including: RBAC, groups (users and computers), module updates, troubleshooting Endpoint agents, sensors, and packages.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the Tanium platform and it is capabilities such as Unmanaged Asset Discovery, Patching, Software Agent Distribution, and Configuration Baseline.
  • Prior engineering experience in endpoint security solutions to include and not limited to Anti-Malware, Endpoint Detection & Response, Threat Detection, File Integrity Monitoring, Device Management, and Vulnerability Management.

Team and Team size:

  • Part of Enterprise Information Security department.
  • Will be part of the M & A Security office team.
  • Acquired Entity Delivery team (M&A Security office -EIS), 2 US team members and 4 OGS.

Top Responsibilities:

  • Deploy and configure automated patch deployment systems (such as Tanium) at acquired companies.
  • Ensure that endpoint security controls (Ex. Anti-virus, VPN) and various endpoint agents are fully deployed across the local environment and configured to operate as intended.
  • Deploy and configure Tanium enpoint at acquired companies where needed.
  • Characterize and analyze system traffic and system logs to identify anomalous activity and potential threats to information resources.
  • Proficient in developing documentation as in-system design, concept of operations and architecture diagramming.
  • Manage delivery of security operations service across multiple business segments.
  • Administer and maintain security operations services including implementing of preventative security safeguards.
  • Facilitate meetings, take meeting notes, and follow up on the next steps. Additionally, deliver executive briefings to the senior management.

Software tools/skills:

  • Tanium Core Platform, SCCM, Capser, FireEye, and BigFix. Understanding of vulnerability/ port scanners like Nessus, Rapid7, Nmap, etc.

Skills/attributes:

  • Tanium platform administration including: RBAC, groups (users and computers), module updates, troubleshooting Endpoint agents, sensors, and packages.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the Tanium platform and it is capabilities such as
  • Unmanaged Asset Discovery, Patching, Software Agent Distribution, and Configuration Baseline.
  • Prior engineering experience in endpoint security solutions to include and not limited to
  • Anti-Malware, Endpoint Detection & Response, Threat Detection, File Integrity
  • Monitoring, Device Management, and Vulnerability Management.
  • Knowledge of agile methodology and experience using project management tools like confluence suite and CA Rally.
  • Experience designing secure networks, systems and application architectures.
  • Professional experience in a system administration role supporting multiple platforms and applications.
  • Experience implementing, configuring, and administering software asset management tools. Additionally, deploy security patches in a large enterprise setting.
  • Ability to automate workflows to accomplish a task. Scripting language proficiency (Perl, Python, bash, PowerShell, VBA, etc.).
  • Experience supporting incident response. Including scanning for malicious content, automation, aggregation of data, and development of remediation methods.

Nice to have:

  • Scripting language proficiency (Perl, Python, bash, PowerShell, VBA, etc.)
  • Experience with building automation.
  • Prior experience in participating in Scrum or Agile methodology.
