Description:

  • IT Operations Services Support for Clinics

Team and Team size:

  • Dynamic work environment where each day isn’t the same. Clinical IT Services provides various IT Services to the business such as daily support (break/fix), IT Integration Projects, IT/RES Refresh Projects, etc.

Here are few pre-screening questionnaires as it relates to IT Work Experience:

  1. Have you had experience in MDF/IDF Buildouts? If so, provide/explain examples?

Objective: Gauge level of knowledge of subject matter in the MDF/IDF setup from Rack, Power, Patch Panel, Device Connectivity.

  1. Have you configured a Network Switch, Router, or Firewall? If so, provide/explain examples? Make/Model? Type of Configurations?

Objective: Gauge level of knowledge of subject matter in the following Network Devices as it relates to network fundamentals.

  1. Have you managed a Windows Active Directory Domain? Administration and Configuration Examples? Objective: Gauge level of knowledge of subject matter in the following Windows Server/Domain Administration/Configuration

IT Contractor / Clinical IT Services - Additional Info

  • Reliable Transportation Required (Estimate 40% Office / 60% Travel to Clinics) - User of own personal vehicles (Mileage Reimbursement)
  • Able to lift 25lbs Pounds
  • Flexible Schedule with no schedule constraints
  • We support 24 Clinical Offices (Geographic Footprint - Long Beach, Seal Beach, Cypress, Los Alamitos, Anaheim Hills, Orange, Huntington Beach, South Orange County down to Vista)
  • Current Team consist of 7 People. Contractor would augment resources of 1 FTE resignation
  • Hours of Operations 8am-5pm
  • Project work scheduled for After-Hours work to not impact patient care. Based on project, contractor may start an earlier or later shift. OT may be require and approved on a per case basis. Daily IT Operations Support 8am - 5pm

Here is a list of Projects and responsibilities my team is tasked to complete in 2020.

  • Network Hardware Refresh for all 24 Clinics
  • Server Refresh for all 24 Clinics
  • Next Day Post Support for any Evening Projects from different IT Teams
  • Asset Life Cycle Mgmt. - Refresh of Old Hardware Revisions (Laptop / Desktops)
  • Badge Scan & Go Computer Login in Clinical Offices
  • Daily Operations IT Support (Dispatch or Remote Support Tool)
  • New User Setup (New Clinical Staff, Providers, etc.) - Laptops/Desktops, Thin Clients, Printers/Desktop Scanners. Etc
